Teacher Samuel Paty was murdered and beheaded last Friday.

On Sunday, President Emmanuel Macron commented on the assassination and said that the Islamists will no longer be able to sleep peacefully in France.

"It's time for fear to change," Macron said.

Now the consequences of this defined policy are beginning to be felt.

Among other things, one of Paris' great mosques will be closed.

Video with hateful language

The mosque is closed for forwarding a video with angry language where the teacher is called a "gangster".

The video was originally posted by a parent with children at the school where the murdered teacher taught.

The video does not call for violence, but the teacher's address is revealed so that others can contact him.

In addition, it contains false information, according to what emerged afterwards, about what the teacher did and did not do.

The parent behind the video was one of those arrested shortly after the act.

Wants to ban organizations

The government also wants to ban two Muslim organizations.

Among other things, the Collective Against Islamophobia in France (CCIF), known for its mapping of anti-Islamic behavior in the country, such as attacks on women wearing veils.

Opponents of the organization have long argued that the CCIF is an umbrella organization for Islamist interests and that they do not defend all Muslims, such as Muslim women who are attacked for

not

wearing a veil or for criticizing elements of Islam.

To protect the republic's values

The French Law Council will now decide whether the bans are in line with French law.

In addition, the French Minister of Civil Affairs has met with those responsible for social platforms to examine how they can help stop the harmful spread of ideas that run counter to the republic's fundamental values.

The announcement from the government that they will deport 250 people with links to radical Islamist circles has been decided since before the act against the teacher.
