Three young people, including a minor, have been arrested for the

gang rape

of a minor in

Gandía

last weekend.

They abused the 16-year-old girl in an orchard on the outskirts, recorded it on video and spread it to some of her contacts through WhatsApp.

Two of them have been brought to justice and it will be Gandía's Investigative Court number 3 who will determine whether precautionary measures are applied to them.

The minor will give a statement to the Prosecutor's Office.

All of them were located a few hours after the minor identified them as perpetrators or necessary cooperators in the attack.

The events occurred last Saturday.

A 16-year-old girl came to the hospital in a daze and alerted the health workers that she had been sexually assaulted.

The protocols were activated and the police investigation tries to clarify if the victim ingested

alcohol or drugs

or if he was given a substance that would override his will.

This is the third group rape that has come to light in the last month in the province of Valencia.

There were ten detainees and there are four adults in provisional prison without bail.

The second occurred last July in a summer resort in the province of Valencia.

The two adults and the two minors who allegedly abused a 15-year-old girl are at liberty because precautionary measures were not agreed against them, something that the minor's family publicly denounced.
