The hospital is equipped with modern ventilators, monitors for intensive observation of patients, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, blood analyzers and a PCR laboratory.
On October 19, the Russian military arrived in Abkhazia to help fight the pandemic.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Abkhazia appealed to the Minister of Defense of Russia Sergei Shoigu with a request to deploy a field hospital in the republic in connection with the increased number of new cases of coronavirus among residents of the country.
