In June, it was decided to introduce antibody tests for covid-19 in Jämtland County.
It was then decided that the test would be free of charge for occupational groups working in health and care, as well as living in special housing.
For the rest of the population, a fee of SEK 200 was introduced.
Now the regional council has decided that the antibody test will also be free of charge for the public.
Region Jämtland Härjedalen wants as high a proportion of the population as possible to perform antibody testing.
The hope is that the testing will be up and running in a few weeks.
