The cumulative incidence of the virus in Madrid in the last 14 days

has fallen again and stands at 409 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

The highest incidence was recorded in Majadahonda and Colmenar Viejo

, which exceed the 500 barrier. In the capital, only the Moncloa-Aravaca district

exceeds that figure, according to the latest weekly epidemiological report from the Ministry of Health.

The report from the Ministry of Health also highlights this downward trend in Madrid, but places the AI for the region at 431.

According to the figures offered by the Government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the accumulated incidence in the last month has dropped by half.

The week before (October 5-11) ended with an AI of 457 per 100,000 population, and the week of September 21-27 ended with an AI of 813.

In Madrid capital, the Accumulated Incidence data is

409.9 compared to 460 cases per 100,000 inhabitants of the previous week (October 5-11).

Another data that reflects this downward trend is that 95% of the Basic Health Zones (272 of 287) have seen their Accumulated Incidence reduced in the last month.

In all the Basic Health Zones in which the Community of Madrid adopted restrictions,

a total of 51, the Accumulated Incidence has decreased to 14 days.

On the other hand, the regulation approved by the Ministry of Health that applied mobility and activity restrictions to 10 municipalities in the Community of Madrid with more than 100,000 inhabitants and an accumulated incidence of 500 cases has also borne fruit.

10 municipalities are below this ratio, as the accumulated incidence decreases.

Even seven of them below 400: Torrejón de Ardoz (457), Parla (439), Madrid (409), Fuenlabrada (365), Móstoles (349), Alcorcón (336), Getafe (336), Alcobendas (328) ,

Leganés (322), and Alcalá de Henares (314).

Meanwhile, the Community of Madrid has registered 1,900 new coronavirus infections today, 920 of them notified in the last 24 hours compared to 232 on Monday, and
