The police in Katrineholm confirm to SVT Nyheter Sörmland that since the start of school they have seen an increasing number of incidents with young people in their teens involved.

At the same time, many outraged comments linked to the various events can be seen on social media.

Several private individuals express an interest in getting involved in the form of night hiking or safety hiking.

One of them is Åsa Bentzer who is a teenage mother and also involved in the Women's and Girls' Shelter Miranda.

Welcome by the head of security

Together with Katrineholm Municipality and the police, there are plans to start safety walks in the city center.

An introductory meeting will be held in early November.

- I see this commitment as very positive.
