The Sudanese capital is holding its breath while waiting for the millions that various political forces called for tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21, while the Khartoum State Security Committee held deliberations for 3 days to discuss ways to deal with the demonstrations.

Even now, hours before a million, the main call to protest remains "bastard" because it is of unknown origin, according to a prominent member of the Resistance Committees in Khartoum who is currently active in coordinating neighborhood committees in an attempt to control the fate of the million

A member of the Resistance Committees said to Al Jazeera Net, that the statements of the Sudanese Professionals Association and the Communist Party in support of getting out in the million came after the basic anonymous call, in an attempt to contain what could arise from these protests.

The confusing and frightening one at the same time is that the advocates of the millionaires corresponding to the anniversary of the revolution of October 21, 1964 - which toppled General Ibrahim Abboud - are multiple preachers with contradictory goals, according to the expression of the committee member.

A state of confusion and the confusion

is evidenced by the fact that some advocates of the millionaire withdrew their support for it due to a change in the positions of other advocates.

Al-Sajjad confirmed to Al-Jazeera Net that the forces of freedom and change, the "ruling coalition", aimed, by inciting them to go out in the million, to pull the rug from under the feet of the Revolutionary Front, which includes armed movements that signed an agreement with the government this month as a rival player.

He added that he entered the field of calling for millionaires to support the Revolutionary Front for "Ashmah" in the possibility of its work to change the reality of the government, but "as soon as the forces of change changed their goals to support the transitional government, they withdrew my support for the million."

He indicated that the biggest advocate of the million people now is the forces of change and the dissolved National Congress Party and its supporters, but the tweet of US President Donald Trump about removing Sudan from the list of terrorism, may have strengthened hope for the government, which affects the response to the protest in order to drop it.

However, Carpet believes that the opportunity for opposition remains in the future, because Trump's move will not have a tangible economic impact, and the forces of change will not change its exclusionary approach.

A genetic footprint

Ambassador Idris Suleiman - the leader of the Popular Congress Party for its late founder Hassan al-Turabi - supports the participation in the million Wednesday, because the government is powerless and failed, and a government committed to the revolution should be formed and represent the Sudanese.

Suleiman assured Al-Jazeera Net that he is with the option of freedom of peaceful expression, indicating that the Islamists have always been with the revolutions.

He continued, "Al-Turabi symposium at the University of Khartoum in 1964 was the one that triggered the October revolution, then came people who stole it by singing, then detonated the April 6, 1985 uprising that overthrew General Nimeiri one month after he was imprisoned by Islamists."

Suleiman stressed that the December 2018 revolution, which dropped Field Marshal Al-Bashir, is Islamic, because the revolution is a slogan and blood, and the slogan of the revolution belongs to the Islamists, and the victims of the protests were among them.

Caution and fear,

and caution reaches its end among the forces of freedom and change, whose leaders are afraid of the occurrence of unfortunate consequences, according to the leader of the Sudanese Baath Party, Muhammad Wadaa, who warned of the possibility of a catastrophe in light of the contradictory objectives and preachers.

"There are arrangements to prevent the situation from disintegrating, including the departure of processions through the resistance committees with banners in specific areas, and well-known leaders for each procession," he told Al-Jazeera.

He pointed out that with the absence of a major goal for the million, it is possible to break down, especially in light of the mobilization of supporters of the former regime to participate in the million.

In an indication of the conflict of goals, a member of the resistance committees in Khartoum said, "The goal of the resistance committees in the (Berri) neighborhood is that of the one million go, the current government, while the rest of the committees aim to complete the transitional government structures and expedite the trial of the symbols of the former regime."

The police position,

and the member, who preferred not to be named, confirmed the existence of concerns in light of new formations of the resistance committees, such as the "engagement" group, which used to promote the million-plus days by burning tires, explaining that this group could clash with the police forces.

He stressed that one of the groups calling for millionaires adopts a strict religious discourse against the forces of freedom and change, and against the "Declaration of Principles" - with the Popular Movement - North led by Abdel Aziz Al-Hilu - which stipulated a discussion of separating religion from the state, which is a group that represents supporters of the former regime, according to a member of the committees Resistance.

Hours before the deadline for the Resistance Committees, a source in Khartoum State Police told Al Jazeera Net that the security authorities will take measures to contain any chaos, including a strong trend to close the bridges linking the capital's cities.

The army is expected to take similar measures by closing the roads leading to the General Command of the Armed Forces in central Khartoum.
