The alarm about the incident was received by the police at 21.35 on Tuesday.
According to the complainant, the robbers' car must have had some form of blue light in the windscreen when they were stopped, the police write on their website.
The two men are said to have pretended to be civilian police and told the driver and a passenger to get out of the vehicle when it was to search through for drugs.
When the car was empty, one of the perpetrators jumped in and drove away with it.
Police have launched a preliminary investigation into the robbery and several patrols are searching for the two suspects, as well as for the stolen car.
At 23 o'clock no one was arrested.
