  • Politics. The leaders of the PP leadership prefer to vote 'no' to Vox's motion of censure against Pedro Sánchez

  • Congress. The PP fears a 'clamp' from Vox and the Government against Pablo Casado in the motion of censure: "Votes are given"

Several deputies "from more than one party" have moved their willingness to support Vox's motion of censure, as detailed by the formation's parliamentary spokesman, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros.

"I know in good faith that there are people who want to vote in favor of the motion of no confidence in almost all the parties," Espinosa de los Monteros commented in an interview with

Televisión Española

this Monday.

"Another thing is that they dare."

The Vox spokesman has blamed "an increasingly widespread current that includes people who are already very tired of this Government and very scared about what is coming."

As he has related, even · "there are people within the PSOE who do not want Vox to govern, but who want someone within the PSOE to govern who has another vision of things and who is more sensible" than the current leader of the Executive, Pedro Sanchez.

"There are people from many parties who would be willing to change the Prime Minister without any doubt," has settled Espinosa de los Monteros, who has stressed that it is likely that voting discipline will end up being imposed, although he does not rule out "any surprises."

In similar lines, the vice president of Vox Political Action,

Jorge Buxadé

, has opined

: "I am convinced that there will not be only 52 votes in favor of the motion of censure", and has insisted that "if there are only 52" supports ( those corresponding to the Vox deputies) will be a sign that "the rest of Congress prefers Sánchez and Iglesias rather than changing the Government of Spain."

Pacts are not in danger

The vote of the Popular Party in the motion of censure, however, remains unknown less than 48 hours after the plenary session begins in Congress.

Espinosa de los Monteros has admitted that the sense of the vote of the group led by Pablo Casado will not interfere or imply any change in the existing regional pacts between the

popular

and Vox.

"We are not like them", has added the also deputy, who has boasted of "knowing how to separate things" and not mix the disagreement that is expected to occur between the formations in Congress with the understandings reached in regions such as Andalusia, Madrid or Murcia .

"They say that things are very bad and they criticize this Government a lot, but at the moment of truth they have the opportunity to change it and they are not clarified," Espinosa de los Monteros lamented about the PP, who recalled that if they had presented the motion, from the formation headed by Santiago Abascal they would have supported it.
