Trading resumed on the Paris Stock Exchange at 12:45 p.m. (10:45 a.m. GMT) Monday after a blackout affecting the stock market operator Euronext which led to a halt in trading for nearly three hours.

Quotations were suspended on platforms managed by Euronext, including Brussels and Amsterdam, but with the exception of Oslo, since around 10:00 a.m. (08:00 GMT).

"The cause [of the breakdown] has been identified and resolved," said the pan-European stock operator in a statement sent to AFP.
