Yangji Lamao, a 16-year-old Tibetan girl, danced a cheerful Zhuogenma dance to celebrate her entry into the new school and high school.

"The school is at the door of my house, and I no longer have to go to a high school in a province thousands of miles away from my home like my sister!" She said excitedly.

In September this year, Yangji Lamao and more than 577 other students entered the Yushu Experimental School affiliated to Qinghai Normal University.

This school is the fifth ethnic high school in Yushu Prefecture and the first high school in Nangqian County.

Among the first 14 classes enrolled, Tibetan students accounted for more than 95%.

The hardware facilities of the school made Yangji Lamao and his classmates happy.

The spacious and bright teaching building, dormitory building, teacher's apartment building, and canteen are all available. The modern physics, chemistry, biology, and geography laboratories have complete facilities, and the standardized music, art, and calligraphy classrooms are not bad.

What is more attractive to the students is that the Yushu prefecture government entrusted this school as a whole to the experienced middle school affiliated to Qinghai Normal University to self-sponsor the school, which sent 30 key teachers to lead the lectures, and Capital Normal University provided intellectual support throughout the process.

Each classroom is equipped with normal direct recording equipment, which can be connected to the High School Affiliated to the First Normal University and interact with each other on the spot, and continuously transport the massive curriculum resources of Beijing to Nangqian.

You know, a year ago, Yangji Lamao had to go to high school if they wanted to go to high school.

As the ethnic minority autonomous prefecture with the highest proportion of main ethnic groups in the country, Yushu Prefecture has long suffered from insufficient high school education resources.

Since 2008, the whole prefecture has started the work of running schools in different places, and successively opened 25 Yushu high school classes in Beijing, Liaoning, Hubei, Guangdong, Sichuan and other places, transporting more than 3700 high school students from different places every year, so that the plateau Gesang flowers bloom in the motherland. Everywhere.

Although the government bears the main cost, it also brings a lot of inconvenience to students.

The completion of the new school will make the "Gesanghuamen" dream of going to high school at home become a reality.

The entire Nangqian County Education Park was put into operation together with this high school.

The park is located in Xiangda Town by the Zhaqu River. It covers an area of 353 acres and has a total investment of 400 million yuan. The construction started in 2017 and was basically completed in August this year.

In addition to high schools, there are also junior high schools, elementary schools, and kindergartens, which have achieved full coverage of each school section. After all are put into operation, they can provide more than 5,000 degrees, effectively solving the "large school quota", "large class quota" and overload "Operational problems" such as operation.

The school is built and there are not enough teachers, what should I do?

Xicheng District, Beijing, has extended a helping hand. Each year, from the counterpart assistance fund, 6 million yuan is allocated to subsidize Nangqian County to hire 147 non-staff teachers to supplement the new school to fill the teacher gap.

At the same time, continue to promote the teacher exchange mechanism of "teacher selection, bureau recommendation, and school appointment" throughout the county to revitalize teachers.

"This is a major people's livelihood project built by us to gather multiple forces, integrate multiple projects, respond to the expectations of thousands of people, and implement the'education priority development strategy'." Zhang Kunming, secretary of the Nangqian County Party Committee, said that the education park was put into operation. It will lay a solid foundation for the education at home in Tibetan areas.
