October 19, 2020 The great designer Enzo Mari, born in Cerano (Novara) in 1932, a leading figure on the Italian art scene, died at the age of 88.

The news was given by Stefano Boeri, president of the Milan Triennale.

"Hi Enzo. You are leaving like a giant", wrote Boeri on social media.

Several times winner of the Compasso d'Oro, he has created symbolic objects of Made in Italy, including the Delfina chair, the Piuma cutlery and the Putrella tray.
