Fifteen people, including four college students, are in police custody in the investigation into the murder of a professor in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine.

Samuel Paty, 47, was killed for showing Muhammad cartoons in class.

According to the latest elements of the investigation, the killer, aged 18 and who was not educated in the establishment, would have distributed money, at least 300 euros in cash to college students to obtain information on his target. New individuals were taken into custody on Monday, including a person who "has already been convicted of terrorist acts and who spontaneously declares having been in contact with the author some time before the events", but also four schoolchildren, so that a student has been released.
