Luis Arce succeeds Evo Morales in Bolivia.

According to a first count published by the private channel Unitel, Monday, October 19, the dolphin of the emblematic leader of the South American left won the Bolivian presidential election in the first round with 52.4% of the vote.

The former Minister of the Economy of Evo Morales offers the Movement Towards Socialism a comfortable victory.

His rival, the former centrist president Carlos Mesa (center) is credited with 31.5%.

From Argentina, former president Evo Morales celebrated the triumph of his party, a victory which must be confirmed by the electorate in the coming hours.
