The Board of Audit and Inspection made a final decision today (19th) on the results of the'Feasibility of Decision to Close Wolsong Unit 1 Early

The results will be released tomorrow.

It ended 385 days after the National Assembly requested an audit on September 30 last year, and 233 days after the deadline for audit was exceeded in late February.

The Board of Audit and Inspection held the Audit Committee on the 6th day from 10 am to 4 pm, attended by Chairman Jae-hyung Choi and five audit committee members, and deliberated and decided on an audit report containing the results of the audit.

It was a'marathon deliberation' that took more than 44 hours in total for the meeting time.

Earlier, the Board of Auditors tried to confirm the results of the audit at the Audit Committee on April 9, before the general election, but decided on supplementary audits at additional meetings on the 10th and 13th of the same month and conducted additional investigations until recently.

The Board of Audit and Inspection plans to disclose the results of the audit at around 2 pm tomorrow.

According to the resolution of the report, the Board of Audit and Inspection plans to print the text by replacing the real name of the text with a non-real name, notifying the person subject to disposal of the audit result, and delivering the final report to the National Assembly.

As the report is finalized, attention is paid to the audit results.

Whichever way the auditor concluded, a fierce after-storm seems inevitable.

However, there are observations in the current politics that the Board of Audit and Inspection will not deny the validity of early closure itself.
