US President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival, Joe Biden, tried to woo early voting participants in Nevada and North Carolina, as the two campaigns intensified their activities before the last debate between the presidential candidates, next Thursday.

Biden attacked his opponent, for saying over the weekend that the United States had "passed the danger stage" regarding the "Corona" pandemic, noting that the rate of new cases in the country rose to the highest level in months.

"Things are getting worse and he is still lying to us about the (epidemic) situation," he said.

The Democratic candidate for Vice President, Kamala Harris, has canceled events that she is attending during the weekend in the United States as part of her election campaign, as a precaution, after tests confirmed that an assistant was infected with the Corona virus.

But the Democratic Camp campaign said, the day before yesterday, that tests had proven that she was not infected with the virus.

Republican Donald Trump spent Sunday in Nevada, an important state he hopes to wrest from the Democrats in this election, which he lost in the 2016 election by a narrow margin.
