The victim said, during the investigations of the Public Prosecution, that he was walking near his residence in the International City area, and a private car stopped, and the accused got out of it, wearing the local uniform, and claimed that he was an investigative officer, and showed him an identity card bearing a nearby logo that resembles the police logo, and he asked him Show his wallet for inspection. He stole 12,000 dirhams from it and threw it in the face at a lightning speed, got into the vehicle and fled the scene.

For his part, a Dubai police witness said that a report was received of impersonating a policeman by an unknown person, stealing a sum of money from a victim in the International City area, and fleeing to an unknown area, pointing out that the specifications given by the victim to the accused matched with another person He was arrested in Al Quoz Industrial Area the day after the incident, after his identity was determined by the team working in the case.

He pointed out that the accused handed over the stolen money and his brother's card, which he uses to deceive the victims, and was referred to the Public Prosecution in Dubai, and from there to the Criminal Court, to start his trial on charges of impersonation and theft.
