Today, Monday, the International Union of Muslim Scholars condemned the "fabrication and fraud" of pro-Egyptian media outlets an alleged fatwa on the Turkish economy.

In an official statement, the federation said, “Amr Adib, the pro-regime Egyptian journalist, published in his program on the MBC satellite channel (mbc) Egypt an alleged fatwa by the President of the Federation, Ahmed Raissouni, in which he claimed that he (ie Raissouni) said that fighting the Turkish economy is a violation of up to The level of apostasy from Islam. "

The statement stated that the fabricated fatwa attributed to the federation, which Adeeb claimed was published on his official website on 17 October, is "a lie, fraud, falsehood and fabrication."

According to the statement, there is no article, tweet or fatwa issued by the President of the Federation with this address, adding, "Has lying, fabrication and forgery reached this point?"

Al-Ittihad stressed that what Amr Adeeb said is shameful and provides a vivid example of the moral decay of the media affiliated with the authority in Egypt, and that it has reached an unbearable level of decadence and lying.

He added that the journalist Amr Adib and those who work in these declining media institutions have been distorting and defaming the nation’s divine scholars, especially the likes of the scholar Sheikh Dr. Ahmad al-Raysouni who spent his life calling to God and calling for moderation and rejecting injustice.

The Union wondered, Are these lies intended to distort the image of divine scholars and the International Union of Muslim Scholars, which from the first moment stood on the side of the oppressed and defeated peoples against their military coups?

And on Sunday, Amr Adib commented sarcastically on the fabricated fatwa that fighting the Turkish economy is a religious violation that reaches the level of apostasy from Islam and supporting the Turkish economy is equivalent to his wage for Umrah, saying, "Salvation, we do Umrah, and we buy Turkish brick or drink Turkish coffee."
