Three planes on their way to Luleå from Stockholm had to turn in the air due to the snowstorm.
- The plane flew back to Stockholm and landed there instead, says Ellen Laurin, press communicator at Swedavia.
Several flights to and from Luleå have been canceled during the evening.
To Umeå, however, air traffic was unaffected according to information around 19 on Sunday evening.
In car traffic, however, the entrance to the snow has been palpable - which the rescue service in Skellefteå has taken note of.
They warn all road users of the difficult road conditions.
- It's snowing and blowing!
It is muddy and slippery on the roads.

If you have summer tires, you should not go out, then you should stay at home, says Ola Lindström, internal commander.
SOS has noted several traffic accidents in the northern parts of the country during the day.
Most are single accidents, and at 20 o'clock in the evening no one was seriously injured.
