She was found guilty of the murder of her 16 month old son, who was stabbed to the throat.

The facts took place on February 9, 2016 in Plourivo near Paimpol.

That day, the gendarmes intervened at the family home.

They had discovered the boy's lifeless body, which had a severe throat injury.

At the time of the tragedy, this mother of six was five months pregnant.

In addition to her prison sentence, she was stripped of her parental rights over her four minor children.
