Radical Islamist propaganda online: the Defense Council decides on "concrete" actions

The Defense Council chaired by Emmanuel Macron on Sunday evening decided to strengthen the security of schools at the start of the school year and to carry out rapid “concrete actions” against radical Islamist propaganda online, the Elysee said.

," added the Elysee, to the outcome of this 2.5 hour meeting with six ministers and the anti-terrorist prosecutor Jean-François Ricard.
The Council has planned to strengthen the security of schools and their environment for the start of the November 2 school year, with measures to be adopted within two weeks.
The Ministers of the Interior and of Justice, Gérald Darmanin and Eric Dupond-Moretti, then presented "
an action plan which will be implemented during the course of the week and will give rise to concrete actions against the structures , associations or people close to radicalized circles
”, which spread calls to hatred that could encourage attacks, the presidency said.
A list of associations will be the subject of “appropriate measures” after checks, pending the bill against radical Islam which should extend the grounds for dissolving associations.
The Elysée did not specify whether the Collective against Islamophobia in France (CCIF), one of the movements in the sights of the intelligence services, was part of it.
The President of the Republic has also asked the Ministers of Justice, the Interior and Education to reflect on measures which could "
enrich or improve
" or even "
complete
" the bill, which must always be presented on December 9 after being sent in a fortnight to the Council of State.

" within the National Education and had indeed taken place for the teacher of Conflans.
The council also decided to act immediately against those who supported the attack on social networks.

Since Friday Pharos (the reporting platform) has identified 80 messages that support the attacker's action.

", such as summons or house searches, according to the Elysee.
The strengthening of the platform is under consideration, added the presidency.
Marlène Schiappa, Minister Delegate for Citizenship, will visit the Pharos site on Monday.
The Elysee Palace also promised the establishment of a "counter-speech" with inaccurate words or radicalized propaganda, citing the example of the speech of Emmanuel Macron at Les Mureaux who was "misled" in some countries for the present as an "anti-Muslim crusade".
