Twenty million French people have been subject to a curfew at 9 p.m. for health reasons since Saturday morning.

But some are not determined to sacrifice their social life so far.

They deliver their tips and tricks to the microphone of Europe 1 to adapt to the new legislation.

All in bed at 9 p.m.?

Since this Saturday morning, the curfew has come into force in Île-de-France and in eight metropolises, in order to fight against the spread of the coronavirus.

Twenty million French people are therefore concerned.

But not all of them intend to give up their social life.

For some, it's time for big calculations: how to continue seeing friends despite these drastic measures?

Between lunches, snacks, brunches and sleepovers, here's how the main stakeholders adapt.

The easy lunch fix

The simplest solution is to replace dinners with friends with lunches on weekends.

This is what Clémence intends to do, for example.

"We are in the process of organizing ourselves to have either a lunch or a snack and to be back home before 9 p.m. We try to be positive and tell ourselves that it is also nice to see each other during the day with the children and to enjoy it differently, "says the young woman, who has some regrets.

"In the evening it's always more fun, there is a festive side, you can drink a little alcohol while this is less the case during the day."

Clémence, a young mother, still sees an advantage: "With children, you don't need to take a nanny. It saves money."

The return of pajama parties

More elaborate, and a little more regressive too, the return of pajama parties.

This is the solution adopted by David's group of friends.

Meet for the aperitif around 8 p.m., as usual.

But "one or two people come with a duvet or a duvet," he explains.

"We saw between us, we will sleep in the same apartment. I have already offered to do it at home since I have a fairly spacious apartment that can accommodate up to seven people."

David really has it all covered.

"I anticipated by going to buy a 2-seater mattress and a 1-seater mattress. We will limit the number of people to 6 or 7 so as not to overdo it, but we will do it like that. I think we will start this as soon as possible. weekend."

And then like that, David and his friends can share breakfast.

"And that could lead to a brunch at noon."

The aperitif brunch innovation

Brunch is just one last option.

The appointment is this time fixed at noon.

"It will start with coffee or tea and, after a certain time, we will start drinking alcohol to keep this brunch going until 8 pm", explains David.

"Everyone can cook something to maintain this social bond."

According to him, it is essential, especially after confinement.

"It's so important to have a social connection with your friends ... you need to spend time with them."

Remember that the government insists on the need to limit its social interactions as much as possible to prevent the coronavirus from spreading.

It is therefore not recommended to be more than six in the same private place.

And it is simply prohibited in bars and restaurants.
