Facing the camera of freelance journalist Clément Lanot, the teenager, educated at the college in Bois d'Aulne, speaks calmly for more than two minutes.

He came on Saturday, October 17, in front of the school where Samuel Paty, professor of history and geography, taught.

Because he wanted to pay homage to this man whom he respected.

He underlines his "benevolence", recalling that he was not trying to offend Muslims.

"We must continue to come, we must not let go"

This student confides that he cried when he learned of the assassination of this teacher on Friday, October 16, which seems inconceivable to him.

And he ends by calling for resistance to terrorists.

"We must continue to learn, they must not win. We must continue to come, we must not let go," he asserts.

This video has been widely disseminated on social networks in the last few hours, and more than 10,000 times retweeted from Clément Lanot's Twitter account, in particular by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron.
