The updated numbers in Italy and in the world

Today the new cases of Covid-19 in Italy are still increasing: they have increased by 11,705 units, there are 69 victims, the healed increase +2,334.

The number of tampons today is 146,541.

On Saturday 17 October, 47 deaths were recorded, 10,925 new infections and 1,255 recovered.

There are a total of 7,131 hospitalized patients with symptoms in Italy, an increase of 514 cases compared to yesterday.

There are 45 more in intensive care, for a total of 750 patients throughout Italy.  

118,356 in home isolation, equal to 8,743 more than yesterday.

The total of currently positive is 126,237 +9,302 compared to yesterday.

251,461 people have been discharged and recovered, an increase of 2,334 units.

There are 69 deceased in the last 24 hours for a national total of 36,543.

The total cases are 414.241 (+11.705).

The swabs in the last 24 hours were 146,541 for a total of 13,540,582.

There are now 2,975 new positives in Lombardy to the Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus that causes Covid-19, and 21 deaths.

More than 1,000 hospitalized.

These are the data in the summary report of the Region for today, Sunday 18 October.

The intensive care units increased by 14 units, the patients are 110, of which 84 intubated.

The number of hospitalized patients is also growing, 122 more in 24 hours.

Hospitals have reopened special wards.

In the province of Milan 1,463 new positives.

"Out of 23 thousand swabs performed today in Lazio, 1,198 positive cases are recorded (the figure takes into account 197 recoveries of delayed notifications in the last 48 hours, in particular in the Asl of Frosinone ), 6 deaths and 49 recovered ".

This was stated by the regional councilor for health Alessio D'Amato.

New leap of infections from Coronavirus in Piedmont, where in the last 24 hours the Regional Crisis Unit has recorded two deaths and 1,123 new infections, the highest number of the week.

Of the new positives, 687 are asymptomatic, or 61%.

The swabs processed were 9,721, slightly down from 11,066 yesterday.

There are 55 hospitalized in intensive care, 4 more than yesterday, 780 those not in intensive care (+79).

There are 8,998 people in home isolation.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, in Piedmont, there have been 4,198 deaths and 43,990 infections, while 29,308 patients have been cured.
