"Sharjah Education" discusses obstacles to "distance education"

Dr. Saeed Al Kaabi: "Launching 58 educational links for parents, teachers and supervisors."

The Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council, Dr. Saeed Al Kaabi, confirmed that the council took advantage of the Corona pandemic to define the shape of education, the challenges and obstacles that will face the educational process in the future, and searched for alternatives and solutions to problems facing distance education, including achieving sustainable education and formulating new education policies. With a focus on educational outcomes, taking into account the psychological and social aspects of students, and laying strong foundations based on innovation, and engaging in the artificial intelligence community and the digital revolution.

He pointed out that all the elements of the educational process will be covered by change, including the student’s thinking, needs, ways of thinking and method of learning, as well as social and psychological aspects in the life of the student and teacher, in addition to school buildings, laboratories and spaces.

And he indicated that the Council launched the "Let us Learn" platform, which contained 58 educational links for parents, teachers and supervisors and all segments of society, indicating that 82 persons from the Nursing Council staff were assigned to work in the ranks of the first line of defense, through their presence in health centers and land and sea ports. Noting that a number of them continue to work in those sites.
