The Inspection Committee for Labor Accommodation at the Special Tasks Department of the Sharjah Police General Command seized more than "21" thousand violations for non-compliance with the implementation of precautionary measures, within the framework of the large-scale inspection campaign carried out by the committee targeting workers' accommodations in various areas in Sharjah city that come within the preventive efforts. And the intensive precautionary measures taken by the competent authorities in the country to combat the emerging epidemic of the new Corona virus "Covid-19".

The Director General of Central Operations at Sharjah Police, Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al-Naour, stated that the Labor Accommodation Inspection Committee (at the Special Tasks Department) managed to monitor 21,157 precautionary violations in the Emirate of Sharjah, during the period from May 20 to October 1, including 6 Thousands and 959 violations were detected in the industrial zones in the emirate, by means of their round-the-clock patrols to support the efforts of the competent authorities to follow up the extent of the society groups ’compliance with the standards and precautionary measures.

He praised the concerted efforts and the existing coordination between the various work teams, especially with the Sharjah Municipality and the Economic Department, to follow up commercial activities in industrial areas and other areas, and to alert their workers to the necessity to follow precautionary measures, and to violate the shop owners who are not committed to the precautionary measures to be followed, including not wearing masks. Or not to leave the physical distance, or to exceed the specified percentage of passengers, through field inspection, whether from police patrols or other civil patrols of the aforementioned authorities.

Brigadier General Al-Naour affirmed the keenness of the concerned authorities in Sharjah Police to continue implementing awareness programs to protect community members, pointing to the Labor Standards Development Authority publishing "170" thousand and 89 awareness bulletins in various languages ​​on various media outlets, until the fifth of this month, as part of its efforts in Familiarizing community members with the precautionary and preventive measures against the emerging corona virus (Covid 19).

And the Director General of Central Operations of Sharjah Police appealed to all members of society to adhere to following precautionary and preventive measures in order to preserve public health.
