The excessive speed led to a collision accident as a result of a vehicle deviating from its lane and entering a petrol station on Al-Ittihad Road in Sharjah, causing various damages to the station, causing minor injuries to a number of station workers, and the vehicle's driver fleeing the accident site.


A report was received at the Central Operations Room at exactly 11:45 pm on Tuesday, October 13th, stating that there was an accident that hit a petrol station, along Al-Ittihad Street, with significant material damage, and the vehicle's driver escaping from the site of the accident.


Accordingly, all the specialized teams moved to the report site, and the inspection revealed that the accident occurred as a result of the vehicle deviating from its middle lane to the right side, and as a result of the excessive speed, the driver was unable to control the steering wheel, which led to it entering the station very quickly, and colliding with the pavement and the guide plate The device for filling the fuel, and then the vehicle continued its movement outside the station, and the accident resulted in the injury of (2) petroleum station workers with minor injuries, and they were taken to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.


As a result of the search and investigation efforts for the driver, he was arrested and arrested, and referred to the Public Prosecution Office for investigation and legal action against him.
