Hope maker Ahmed Al Falasi buys artificial limbs for "The Blue Boy"

The winner of the "makers of hope" award, Ahmed Al Falasi, stated that he was finally able to communicate with Saleh Hamdan (the boy of Zarqa) in Jordan, and his mother and grandmother, and agreed with them to bear the fees for his prosthetic limbs.

He also contacted a company specializing in prosthetics in Germany, to buy high-quality limbs that have 14 movements, despite their high price, confirming that the required amount is transferred to the company's account.

Al-Falasi told Al-Emarat Al-Youm that the boy is currently in the stage of receiving treatment and conducting tests, confirming that the operation will be carried out for him later, in preparation for the installation of prosthetic limbs and the eye.

He continued: “I have been working for a long time to volunteer and donate medical supplies, and when I heard about the boy’s accident, I tried to contact his family so that I could donate prosthetic limbs to him, whatever their cost,” noting that he is in constant contact with officials of artificial limb factories, and he can provide what is needed. The boy from her, until he returns to his normal life.

The heinous crime, which the boy was exposed to in the Jordanian governorate of Zarqa, preoccupied the Jordanian public opinion, as a group of people amputated the arms of the 16-year-old juvenile, and one of his eyes was severely brutally punished, in retaliation against one of his relatives.

Jordanian society interacted with the heinous crime, before its repercussions exceeded Jordan's borders.

The Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, also followed the details of the incident, with great interest, until the moment of the arrest of the perpetrators.
