Decapitated professor: a national tribute will be paid, announces the Elysee

The Elysee Palace said on Saturday that a "national tribute" would be paid to the beheaded teacher on Friday in the Yvelines, who had shown caricatures of Muhammad to his students.

This tribute, the date of which has not yet been set, is organized in coordination with the family, the Elysee told AFP.

Emmanuel Macron went to the scene of the attack on Friday evening, in Conflans-Saine-Honorine, where he denounced a "characterized Islamist attack".
