The conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh still seems to be increasing in intensity.

Last night, Azerbaijan's second city, Gandja, came under fire again from the Armenian side.

Thirteen civilians were reportedly killed in the bombings, according to Baku.

For its part, Azerbaijan struck the two main cities of the secessionist Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, Stepanakert and Shushi, but also the territory of Armenia itself.

The ceasefire that entered into force just a week ago, thanks to Russia's mediation, has never been respected.

Gandja was

hit hard again

on the night of Friday, October 16, 2020 to Saturday.

Thirteen civilians were reportedly found dead in the rubble of around twenty houses, in two different neighborhoods of Gandja, the large city in northern Azerbaijan, located about fifty kilometers from the front line and with a very important military airport.

According to Baku, the shots came from a ballistic missile launching system installed on the territory of Armenia, and not on that of the de facto independent Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The latter's Defense Army for its part published a list of seven "

legitimate military targets located in the city of Gandja

 ".

More and more violent fights

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev vowed that his army would take revenge against Armenia and on the battlefield.

He has been announcing for several days the resumption of many villages on the southern and northern flanks of the 200 kilometers of the "

contact line

 " of Karabakh.

The towns of Stepanakert and Chouchi were also hit on Friday evening, October 16.

It seems that the fighting has never been more violent than in recent days.

The videos published by the belligerents show that the toll of soldiers killed in combat is increasing sharply every day.
