The Dubai Criminal Court has ruled that a (Asian) cleaning worker has been imprisoned for two years and deported, after he was found guilty of kidnapping an eight-year-old girl, detaining her in a bathroom designated for people of determination and forcibly indecent assault.
A Dubai Police prosecution witness said in the prosecution's investigations, that a report was received by the Status Office at Dubai Airport about a girl being harassed in Building 2 inside a bathroom designated for women of determination, after he lured her after leaving the regular bathroom, then harassed her, and when she cried The girl screamed, opening the door and running away, pointing out that the girl reported that the person who harassed her was wearing the uniform for cleaners.
The witness added that by restricting the cleaning workers present in the place through surveillance cameras, four suspects were monitored, and facing them, the first confessed directly without pressure that he lured the child and violated her display under duress. The accused was accused of his crime, and he was concealed under the pretext that he was afraid to talk about the matter, and it was found that other workers were also complicit, so the other three workers were referred to court on other charges related to this case.
For her part, the mother of the child said that she was accompanied by her daughter at Dubai airport, and before boarding the plane, the child went to the bathroom, and after five minutes she returned in an unnatural and fearful condition and did not close her pants, so I asked her what happened, and she told her that a person dressed as sanitation workers tampered with her body. She pointed to the areas he touched, noting that she had informed the police of what had happened.
The mother added that a policewoman attended and calmed the child and wrote down her statement, noting that the accused deceived her daughter by claiming that she did not pull the water shattaf out, and as soon as she entered, he closed the door behind her and molested her, but she cried and screamed so he was afraid of being exposed and fled.
