The globally popular'Australian Firefighters Calendar' has announced that it will use 2021 calendar proceeds to heal animals injured by Australian wildfires.

The Australian Fire Department began selling calendars of photos of incumbent firefighters in their country in 1993.

This was to support the cost of research on burn treatment for children. The monthly revenue collected so far for about 30 years is 3.2 million Australian dollars, and our money amounts to about 2.6 billion won.

In addition, in 2016, we continued donating to various animal groups, including the world's first animal welfare organization'RSPCA' to take pictures for abandoned dogs.

The Australian firefighters' calendar production team has announced that it will focus its proceeds on treating wild animals injured by massive wildfires that lasted six months from September 2019 to early this year.

According to officials, a whopping 1 billion animals were injured by this wildfire, and most of them cannot return to their original habitats due to the destruction of the forest.

In line with this concept, firefighters also took wonderful calendar pictorials in nature with various animals such as koalas, kangaroos, wombats and turtles.

The calendar can be purchased from the official website (https://www.australianfirefighterscalendar.com/), and the cost of one calendar is AUD 20 (approximately 16,000 won).
