A South Korean diplomat said on the 16th that the government has launched an inter-agency response mechanism centered on the Office of State Affairs.

The senior official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the South Korean government will continue to put the protection of the health and safety of its citizens in the first place, pay close attention to Japan’s sewage treatment activities, and strengthen cooperation with the international community to jointly respond.
