At the front of the church was a large picture of Wilma.

In the pews people sat and cried and comforted each other.

When the song "Uti vår hage", a song that Wilma herself liked a lot, was played, not an eye was dry.

The church had arranged for several memorial services to take place one after the other, in order to comply with corona restrictions and ensure that anyone who wanted to had the opportunity to participate.

In the past, Wilma's family has had funerals with loved ones.

On Friday, the public was welcomed to the memorial services.

It was in November last year that 17-year-old Wilma was reported missing in Uddevalla.

Thousands of volunteers searched for her, but it took almost two weeks before the police announced that they had found a body part that confirmed that she was dead.

The ex-boyfriend was sentenced to life in prison, for his refusal, in the district court for murder and breach of the peace.

The Court of Appeal negotiations were recently concluded.

The judgment of the Court of Appeal is expected to be announced on October 23.
