　　Yu Jie used to serve as the director of the Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Department, the deputy director of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee Organization Department (at the department level), and the executive deputy minister.

In January 2018, he cross-provincially assumed the role of member of the Shandong Provincial Government Party Leadership Group and Vice Governor. In July 2020, he became a member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and later concurrently served as the Minister of the Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department.

　　Shandong First Medical University (Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences) is a key university in Shandong Province and the largest medical scientific research institution in Shandong Province.
