The general trend of history is great; those who follow it will prosper, and those who go against it will perish.
General Secretary Xi Jinping profoundly pointed out that we are willing to create a broad space for peaceful reunification, but we will never leave any space for various forms of "Taiwan independence" separatist activities.
We do not promise to abandon the use of force and retain the option of taking all necessary measures. We are aimed at the interference of external forces and the very small number of "Taiwan independence" separatists and their separatist activities. We are by no means aimed at compatriots in Taiwan.
We are willing to share peace with the broad masses of Taiwan compatriots with the utmost sincerity and seek common development. However, we will also severely punish the various retrogrades of the separatist forces that seek "independence" to "independence" and undermine peace.
