It was on October 7 that the problems began.

People with security alarms around the country suffered from long waiting times when they pressed the alarm button.

The chaos started when the operator Tunstall changed the alarm platform.

- It is extremely sad that it has happened.

And we add all the resources we can to secure operations, says the company's CEO Johan Lenander.

Required for compensation

Several municipalities are demanding compensation from the company for the problems caused by the alarm chaos.

One of them is the municipality of Sölvesborg.

- This is very serious for us.

It is important for us to create security and we can not do that right now, Annelie Kjellström, head of the care administration in Sölvesborg, has previously told SVT.

The alarm company about the requirements

But the alarm company Tunstall does not want to comment on the municipalities' compensation claims.

- We will review each case with our municipalities and customers and look at our agreements in a joint dialogue.

So I can not comment on that beyond that, says Johan Lenander.
