What are the additional warning signs of illness?

The answer is here.

A sore throat is a symptom of corona infection, and is also known as "sore throat".

In other respiratory diseases - such as the common cold - a sore throat is often an early symptom, and due to inhalation of respiratory viruses, they enter the nose and throat first, and may multiply there early, which leads to throat pain and irritation.

The prevalence of sore throat symptoms was 12% of cases, according to a study published in the scientific journal PLOS ONE.

When does a sore throat indicate Corona?

According to experts, a sore throat may be a warning sign of infection with the Coronavirus, especially if it is accompanied by other symptoms such as:

1- Fever.

2- Coughing.

3- Loss of sense of smell and taste.

4- Fatigue

According to Dr. Michael Lerner, a laryngologist at Yale Medicine, in a statement to the "health" website;

"Currently, we estimate that sore throats occur in about 10% of cases of coronavirus."

Dr. Lerner points out that "sore throats can be caused by a viral or bacterial infection, and it can be due to other inflammatory conditions such as allergies, acidity, or dehydration."

However, even if the sore throat is accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, headache and dry cough;

The only way to know if a sore throat is due to a coronavirus infection is to test for the virus.
