In light of the lead of Democratic candidate for the US presidential elections, Joe Biden over President Donald Trump in the opinion polls;

The statements and leaks of close to the president were published, talking about the possibility of his loss.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham - a close confidant of Trump - has acknowledged that the Democrats have a good chance of winning the presidential election scheduled for November 3.

This came during a session of the Senate Judiciary Committee today, Thursday, as Graham tried to respond to Democrats' criticism of Trump and Republicans rushing to appoint conservative Judge Amy Connie Barrett to the Supreme Court before the elections.

"You have a good chance to win the White House," Graham said during the session. Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar interrupted him, saying, "Thank you for your admission of that." He replied, "I think this is true."

Graham, however, argued that the Democrats' fortunes did not warrant suspending the confirmation procedures for the judge, whom Trump chose for the Supreme Court.

But Klobuchar considered that the matter was "outrageous", noting that in 2016 the Republicans refused to hear a judge nominated by President Barack Obama at the time to the Supreme Court under the pretext of the upcoming elections, and added that "millions of people vote during our debate," referring to early voting.

Murdoch's expectations

On the other hand, the "Daily Beast" website reported that "Fox News" owner Robert Murdoch told his aides that he expected a landslide victory for Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

The site quoted 3 people close to Murdoch - who is close to Trump and one of his biggest supporters - as saying that he is disgusted by Trump's handling of the Corona pandemic, describing him as his own enemy, and he does not listen to advice.

The site stated that Murdoch - who had long enjoyed distinguished relations with President Trump that enabled him to communicate with him directly - had not spoken with the president for weeks due to his anger at Trump's criticism of the Fox network when he described its coverage as negative.

Senate elections

On the one hand, Trump appears not to be the only Republican at risk in the election;

While the White House master retreats in the polls 20 days before the polls, his party is struggling to maintain its majority in the Senate.

The presidential polls will run parallel to the elections to renew about 35 of the 100 seats in the Senate.

The Republicans currently have a majority of 53 seats, but they are trailing in four electoral races for seats they control, and they do not appear to be in a good position in unclear races in 5 other states.

Among the Republican personalities facing difficulties is Senator Lindsey Graham, who is fighting for his political career in South Carolina, against an unexpectedly heavily funded opponent.
