Moscow announced the security of registration by QR codes in clubs

As noted by RBC in the department, all data of people will be stored on the servers of the department, which are located in Russia and protected "in accordance with the requirements of the regulator."

"The phone number required for registration in an entertainment establishment is indicated by the visitor himself after scanning a QR code or sending an SMS message," the department noted.

Earlier it was reported that the Moscow authorities, after consulting with representatives of the city's entertainment establishments, decided as an experiment to introduce a registration system for employees and visitors to nightlife establishments.

From October 19, entrance to discos, nightclubs, bars and other similar establishments from midnight to six in the morning will be possible only after scanning a QR code at the entrance or sending an SMS to a special short number.
