On October 8, a woman in her 30s came to the emergency room at Kullberska Hospital in Katrineholm with serious injuries.
She is said to have been stabbed and a man in his 40s with whom she had a relationship was suspected of the act.
The knife attack is said to have taken place in a parking lot in Katrineholm.
Detained in his absence
A few days later, an arrest hearing was held and the man was arrested in his absence on probable cause on suspicion of attempted murder and unlawful threats.
The man became internationally wanted.
- He is wanted in both Sweden and internationally and if he tries to get out of the country, I hope he gets stuck in a check, said prosecutor Lukas Tigerstrand after the arrest.
Arrested in Vingåker
Late on Wednesday night, the man was arrested.
