The handball players of Paris SG, beaten for their first two Champions League matches, won their first success this season in C1, winning Thursday night at home against the Norwegians of Elverum 35 to 29.

PSG bowed at Coubertin against the Germans in Flensburg (29-28) and went to lose in Belarus against Brest (32-31).

With this success, built in the first period by Mikkel Hansen and Vincent Gérard and in the second by Elohim Prandi, the Parisians have two points, with one game late, because the meeting against Szeged could not be played due to cases of Covid-19 in the Hungarian workforce.

To play the rest of the competition, PSG must take one of the first six places (out of eight) in its group after the 14 matches in the group stage.

The first two teams qualify directly for the quarter-finals, the other four must go through a barrage of access to the quarterfinals.
