Former Parisian Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored twice on Thursday for his first match with Bayern Munich, in the 3-0 first round victory of the German Cup (32nd round) against the team of 5th division of FC Düren.

Two days before the resumption of the Bundesliga at the promoted Bielefeld, coach Hansi Flick had left his internationals engaged in recent days in the Nations League to rest, with the exception of Niklas Süle, and aligned Choupo-Moting at the forefront, in place of Robert Lewandowski.

The 31-year-old Cameroonian international scored in the 24th and 75th minutes, and caused a penalty converted by Thomas Müller (36th).

He was replaced on the hour mark.

Given the restrictions related to the coronavirus, Düren had waived his right to entertain, and the match was played at the Allianz Arena, without any spectators.

Without his stars Neuer, Kimmich, Goretzka, Gnabry, Sané, nor his French Pavard, Hernandez, Tolisso and Coman, Flick played young people from the reserve team and all the new recruits of the transfer window, including the former Marseillais Bouna Sarr.
