15 October 2020 After

Valentino Rossi

, news arrives of another positivity at Covid of a leading athlete of Italian sport, that of swimming champion

Federica Pellegrini

"I just received bad news, yesterday during a training session I went out because I was in a lot of pain and coming home in the afternoon I started to have a sore throat. I was positive. I am positive at Covid ", explained

Pellegrini

herself

with a video posted on Instagram.

Shortly before,

Valentino Rossi

had also communicated, again on Instagram, that he had tested positive for the coronavirus

"Unfortunately this morning I woke up and was not feeling well. I was feeling particularly weak and had a slight fever, so I immediately called the doctor who gave me two tests. The result of the rapid PCR test was negative, just like the test which I had already done on Tuesday. But the second one, the result of which was sent to me at 4 pm this afternoon, was unfortunately positive ".

Valentino Rossi writes it on his account.

"I am clearly very disappointed that I will have to miss the Aragon race. I would like to be optimistic and confident, but I expect the second round at Aragon to be a 'no go' for me too. I am sad and angry because I did some my best to respect the protocol and even if the test I did on Tuesday was negative, I have already isolated myself since my arrival from Le Mans ", added the Yamaha rider, on Instagram, on the eve of free practice at the Aragon GP.

"Anyway it is so, and I can not do anything to change the situation. Now I will follow the medical advice, and I just hope to get well soon", concludes Rossi in his post.
