This was revealed by the weekly monitoring of the Ministry of Health-Iss.

A rapid analysis of the sub-regional risk is necessary for the timely increase of the containment and mitigation measures in the most affected areas ".

We read in the monitoring relating to the period between 5 and 11 October 2020.

"The population is called upon to respect with conscience and precision all the precautionary rules envisaged".

In particular, it is recommended to respect the physical spacing and the correct and appropriate use of the masks and also "to avoid as much as possible situations that could favor transmission such as spontaneous and programmed aggregations to avoid further deterioration that could require territorially widespread restrictions".

Rezza: significant increase in cases

"The cases of covid 19 in our country are increasing, this time significantly compared to the previous weeks and the RT is significantly higher than 1. Outbreaks occur and sporadic cases are recorded in all regions and hospital admissions are also increasing, more slowly but also intensive care admissions even if there is still no particular criticality from this point of view ".

This is the message of Giovanni Rezza, Director General of Prevention of the Ministry of Health who summarizes the monitoring data in a video. "At this moment - he warns - it is necessary to take measures, to behave prudently and to avoid aggregations and events both public and private, including extracurricular activities, and also pay attention inside the home. It is natural that you must continue to take all precautions starting with physical distancing, keep the masks both in public and outdoors and above all take care of hygiene of the hands ".
