The campaign for the Bolivian elections ends today.

Voters will be called upon to vote this Sunday, October 18.

A year ago the last elections were annulled and Evo Morales forced to leave power by a movement of social revolt.

One of the leaders of this movement is today the third man in the elections behind Luis Arce, the dolphin of Evo Morales and the centrist Carlos Mesa.

Luis Fernando Camacho, conservative candidate, was in his city of Santa Cruz to celebrate the end of the campaign as it should.

In the middle of the crowd, standing on a truck, Luis Fernando Camacho, in his forties, three-day-old beard and white cap on his head, tours his city, Santa Cruz.

“

We started the fight here!

We will end it here!

We are going to change Bolivia!

He says.

Many young people

At the foot of the truck many young people.

Many were there a year ago when Luis Fernando Camacho called for a street uprising to successfully remove Evo Morales from power.

And, among the faithful demonstrators there is Natalia, 20: “

We all know this is the best.

He made thousands of people rise up before God and before everyone else.

He is our leader.

"

Faced with those who accuse Camacho of being too conservative, a new Bolsonaro, Marta, a lawyer, in her fifties responds: “

We are no longer afraid of anything.

Because with all that we have been through, all that we are going through not to mention the pandemic.

What more fear could we have.

And then the commitments he made are very clear, he saw how we got the last leader out;

we could do the same if not worse.

 "

Candidate for rupture

Luis Fernando Camacho is the third man in these elections.

He appears as the candidate for the break with the movement towards socialism of Evo Morales who remains in the lead in the polls.
