On the night of Monday to Tuesday, in Montpellier (Hérault), an operation to combat drug trafficking gave rise to four arrests and seizures of narcotics, indicate the police officers of the departmental security of Hérault.

This is information that put the police, in March 2019, on the trail of this drug trafficking.

They were alerted that people were reselling heroin in downtown Montpellier.

Suspects had been arrested and imprisoned.

23.4 kg of heroin seized

By continuing their investigations, the investigators succeeded in identifying a network, suspected of having led back and forth between Montpellier and Rotterdam (Netherlands).

On Monday, a 27-year-old woman was arrested when she got off a train, at Saint-Roch station, in Montpellier, in possession of 20 kg of heroin and 1.2 kg of cocaine.

Three other individuals, aged 27, 31 and 47, were also arrested.

During searches of the homes of the suspects, the police seized 23.4 kg of heroin, 1.2 kg of cocaine, three vehicles and just over 8,000 euros in cash.
