A priest of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint-Pius X was indicted for rape and sexual assault, we learned Thursday from the La Roche-sur-Yon prosecutor's office.

The facts would have occurred between 2006 and May 2020 in Vendée and Charente-Maritime.

"Indicted by the investigating magistrate, he was remanded in custody" Wednesday, indicates the prosecution.
