At least four teachers joined the Telegram chat room, which distributed sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, such as'Room n'and received video transmission.

According to data received from the Ministry of Education and the Metropolitan Office of Education by Democratic Party lawmaker Lee Tan-hee belonging to the National Assembly Education Committee, four teachers from Incheon, Chungnam, and Gangwon, etc., were investigated on charges of receiving sexual exploitation of children by joining'N-Room' and'Park Sa-bang'. I have been notified of the start of the investigation by the authorities.

These are three full-time teachers, including a high school and special school teacher in the Chungnam region, an elementary school teacher in the Gangwon region, and one fixed-term teacher who worked at an elementary school in the Incheon region.

Of these, three full-time teachers were dismissed from their positions after notification of the commencement of the investigation, but one fixed-term teacher was found to have retired prior to the notification of the commencement of the investigation.

In particular, in the case of fixed-term teachers, there was no disadvantage in their status due to retirement, so they can be reappointed as fixed-term teachers, Lee said.

Assemblyman Lee said, "This is the first time the fact that teachers have joined after the incident in Room n emerged as a social issue," he said. "It should be closely investigated if there are any more teachers involved, and strict punishment corresponding to the crime of child sex offenders should be followed." Said.
