"The State Duma will, as a priority, consider the draft law on the State Council submitted by the president, as well as other initiatives aimed at further strengthening our sovereignty," TASS quoted him as saying.
According to Volodin, they will be submitted to the next meeting of the State Duma Council.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma a bill on the status, structure and powers of the State Council of Russia.
